Divine, Sensuous, Decadent...

...Just a few adjectives a chocolate lover would attribute to her affair.

"A tempting, luscious, creamy chocolaty filling surrounding a whole hazelnut, within a delicate, crisp wafer...all enveloped in milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnuts..." This is what Ferrero Rocher offers to its consumers.
A passionate treat.

I am amazed at the attention and thought the creator of F.R. would have put into it. To me, it looks like the layers of the Earth - the Core, Mantle, the Crust!!!
The hard hazelnut core, the chocolaty lava mantle, the wafery crust and the choco-nutty top soil.
Layers of surprises, all in a 1.5" diametered sphere.

I though I had lost interest in chocolates since my Hyderabad days (Thanks to my overdose on Twix, M&M, Toblerone, etc. ) Once in a way, Ferrero Rocher used to interest me, but never like now.

My fridge is like a cornucopia of chocolates, but with really no one other than my guests to enjoy them. Not that Sai or myself do not like them, but, we somehow have lost interest in them atleast 4-5 years back. One box would just be over when another friend would bring in another. Once, owing to an earlier passion, we bought a box of alcoholic chocolates from Costco (imagine, like 100 of them) and they sat on the microwave top for about a year, getting heated, cooled, solidified, liquified (seasonal changes) till we threw them out one day (Apologies). I thought that one had to reach middle age to enjoy it, like Kumar would remark.

Last week, I carefully remembered to get F.R. during my regular grocery shopping, for taking it to a friend on the weekend. On Sunday, I put it out on the kitchen counter, lest I forget to take it on my way out. Goodness! Gracious! And, I still forgot to take it with me.

Ok, it lay there, why not take one? And, then very slowly, I was feasting on one of them. I realised what I had been missing all this while. (Well, well, it has really made me write all this, I am not kidding :> ) Sinfully Delicious:)

btw chocs have some compounds that trigger a 'feel good' wellness among women. Infact its prescribed by docs in some parts of the globe. Coming to F.R.'s hats off to their creative branding!
I'd b glad if u get me more than a few mouthfuls ;-)

Hey Peetes!

Life goes on. Nothing out of the usual !

Have ambitious plans as usual, which are going nowhere as usual :)

Oh well... miss home. Pune can as well be someplace abroad - as far as missing home goes, that is.

Mail sometime!

What else is news at your end?

If you don't know what to read, check out just the humour and music sections - the rest of it is just crap :)
